"UHAM" Mounts

Universal fit, adjustable, dual point of support mounts for "any brand" of HF screwdriver and motorized antenna - the "gold standard" of mounts. No other brand of mount can fit the variety of motorized / screwdriver HF antennas that our UHAM line can fit. Come in bare aluminum or five powder coated finishes (Powder Coat Paint Colors). Made of 6061 aluminum and 18-8 stainless steel components.

• UHAM-150: Bolts to horizontal surfaces (trailer hitch / bumper), antenna base diameter up to 2-1/8 inch. Comes with antenna insulation to fit any antenna. Also included are heavy duty solder lugs for connecting your coax. Options include the SHUNT100 HF load inductor and SHD-SO239 mounting base that was custom designed by us. "BKT" Specialized Mounts

Specialized antenna mounts for trucks and Shakespeare spring base and vertical antennas. The Shakspeare spring fits their 16 and 32 ft. vertical antennas and Hi Q ruggedized antennas that fit the Shakespears spring.

"CLAMP" Mounts

Clamp-on mounts for a variety of HF/VHF/UHF mobile antennas, without having to drill or modify the surface it is mounted to. NOT ELSE is like our clamp products. Several options are available to customize the "clamps" to your situation, including NMO mounts with groundplane radials, ground counterpoise brackets, second antenna mounting arms and a variety of our UHAM and AMB series of antenna brackets. VERY UNIQUE, new for 2009.

• CLAMP-150: Clamp-to-anything portable mount fits any surface (vertical, horizontal, slanted) up to 9 inches thick - YES 9". Great for traveling with your ham radio station, QRP, EMCOMM, antenna restricted neighborhoods, etc. You do NOT NEED A TRIPOD for your portable antenna system, just clamp it to a railing, fence, table, bench, guard rail, almost anything! "AMB" Brackets

Brackets for mobile antennas, ground counterpoise, as options for our mounts or can be used by themselves. Include antenna mounting "L" brackets (one tilts), ground counterpoise brackets, second antenna bracket, mounting adapters and Hi Q "ruggedized" antenna extensions.

• "AMB" L-Brackets:  We offer three "L" brackets for mounting your HF/VHF/UHF mobile antennas. They can be used by themselves or as options for our CLAMP200 and BKT products. Two of them come with your choice of antenna base (3/8x24 stud, NMO, SO239). An optional NMO with groundplane radials is also available. Click > DETAILS & ORDERING

"Antenna Accessories"

Antenna Accessories for mobile, portable and fixed-base antennas: weatherproof coax quick disconnect, adjustable shunt load inductor and trailer hitch mount extension.

• CNCT-PL259-WXQD: The "CNCT" provides a weather proof quick disconnect for any size of flexible coax. It has two SO239 connectors on both ends, and mounts with the provided stainless steel 1/4" bolt. It can be mounted to your vehicle or fixed base antenna system. An end cap is included, for when you want to remove your antenna and keep the "CNCT" weatherproof. The "CNCT" allows for 10 second disconnect of your coax! • SHUNT-100: ANOTHER UNIQUE REP DESIGN PRODUCT! Weather proof HF shunt load inductor, with silver plated coil clip that fastens around the"sweet spot" coil tap with a screw. Includes a custom wound 14 gauge tin plated solid copper coil that works from 160-10m. Like any shunt coil, the "SHUNT100" allows you to raise the impedance of your  mobile antenna on the low bands, mainly 160-40m. On the upper bands, like any shunt coil, it becomes invisible. It also helps to dissapate static - but will NOT protect against lightning. Once tuned it does NOT need retuning as you change HF bands, unlike some of the impedance/inductance/capacitive devices. Also unlike the other devices, ours is made to be used OUTSIDE, even on salty roads. N7EMW has used on with his Hi Q 5/160 for well over a year, without any problems or retuning. It bolts onto our UHAM mounts, AMB "L" brackets, and CLAMP mounts. It can also be used on any mount, as the aluminum flat mounting bracket can be retotated - we use rubber seals and non-corrosive RTV sealer to keep out the weather. Click > DETAILS & ORDERING  

• SARM-100: 11 inch extension for mounting your hitch-mounted antenna bracket WITH a trailer or many of the hitch mounted bike racks. It has a one inch diameter hole on either end for bolting to your hitch and antenna mount - any size bolt or trailer hitch ball can be used from 3/4 to 1 inch. Click > DETAILS & ORDERING  

"Antenna Bases"

Antenna Bases for HF/V/UHF Mobile antennas with 3/8x24 stud, NMO or SO239. One NMO base has groundplane radials to convert mobile antennas to fixed base on non metallic surface.    

• Standard Antenna Bases: We provide high quality, heavy duty, 3/8x24, NMO and SO239 antenna bases that mount into the 3/4" diameter holes in our CLAMP and AMB "L" bracket mounts. We include rust-proof heavy duty nuts, NOT the flimsey thin nuts on most mounts or the "flea market" SO239 heavy duty nuts made in China that rust! We conducted a salt water bath test on different brands of nuts and selected the best ones we could find (recent salt test results to be posted, click > Test Results ). We include stainless steel washers for the NMO and SO239 bases so they fit our larger size hole (will also fit 5/8" hole). Click > DETAILS & ORDERING

We have just completed the design and tests of our existing antenna mounts that can be optioned inexpensively to fit a WiFi panel or other "SHF" panel antenna. The panel antenna can be rotated, tilted and configured for either horizontal or vertical polarization. We tested this on Cape Cod, MA, and picked up public WiFi networks four miles away, line-of-sight across water. We have not priced these options, and if interested in the meantime please contact us, click > CONTACT US .  

These mounts are based on our CLAMP-150  and AMB-BKT-2 mounts. The option that we include is an additional aluminum "L" bracket that enables the additional 3 dimensional aiming of panel antennas. These offer a sturdy alternative to standard panel mounts; the CLAMP150 enables mounting to any surface up to 9 inches thick WITHOUT DRILLING!

We can also provide the WiFi panel antenna similar to the one in the test (see photos below) and the higher power WiFi "USB wireless adapter" also used in this test. Both items are relatively inexpensive.
