The "BKT_ToyotaTrac-1" fits the side and front utility tracks of Tacoma trucks. It simply slides in but you need to unscrew the Torx bolts (T-27 tip) that hold the track to the bed wall - very simple to do. Because this vehicle has a composite bed, you need to install a counterpoise, especially for HF. This can be a wire running along the utility track or wires running from the two ground bolts on the "BKT" across the bed, forming a "V" type counterpoise. Stay tuned for more details.

It will fit essentially any V/UHF mobile antenna, all small HF mobile antennas, and other HF antennas up to the smaller screwdriver types, such as the High Sierra "Sidekick", Tarheel "Little Tarheel" and Icom ATAS-100 / 120.

The "BKT" INCLUDES your choice of heavy-duty antenna base: 3/8x24 stud, NMO and SO239. All are interchangeable at any time. For details, see ANTENNA BASES .
