Antenna Mounting "L" Brackets

This page describes the Heavy-duty "L", for  any V/UHF and up to medium HF screwdriver/motorized antennas; mobile and fixed base uses.

AMB-Bkt-1-T: Larger "L" Mount

Our thicker and wider "L" mount for just about any HF/V/UHF mobile antenna up to HF screwdriver or motorized antennas with a base diameter up to 2.5 inches, and even Buddistick^TM vertical antennas. Can now be ordered without any antenna base, or with our several INTERCHANGEABLE antenna bases. Read on below about its specifications, types of antennas that can be used, compatible antenna bases and several options.

Specifications

• Material of construction: 6061 aluminum.
• Hardware: 18-8 stainless steel 3/8 inch bolts &  1/4 inch grounding bolts.
• Finishes: Standard hand buffed aluminum. Powder coat finishes - black, red, white, blue and clear coat. On powder coat finishes we mask off the critical areas around the holes to provide an excellent bare metal to bare metal contact for good grounding and performance.
• Dimensions: 1/2" thick x 6x6 x 2.5" wide
• Transmit Power: QRP, 100 watts or whatever your antenna and type of antenna base can withstand.
• Where Used: mobile and fixed base
• Antenna Bases:
• ¾ inch diameter mounting hole with panel thickness 1/2 inche
• choice of interchangeable bases - see list below under Antenna Bases

Installation Procedures

It can be mounted to a vertical surface using the two included stainless steel bolts or other screws that you would provide for mounting to a wooden surface. For mobile and fixed base use. For installation details you may find the INSTALLATION MANUAL of interest, which can be viewed or printed in PDF format.
