"BKT-HondaRL-1" Antenna Bracket for Honda Ridgeline Pickups
We are now selling OUR BRAND NEW BRACKET, the "BKT-HondaRL-1" ("BKT") that allow you to mount up to three (3) antennas (see below) and have a GREAT LOOKING system! The "BKT" looks factory installed and blends nicely with the Honda style - see our photos below.
This is the first product in our new "Truck Mount" product series. It is fully blueprinted, like our other products.
The "BKT" is a heavy-duty aluminum channel and includes stainless steel mounting hardware to easily bolt it to your Ridgeline - NO DRILLING HOLES INTO YOUR TRUCK! All you need to do is to drill the holes for your antenna base(s) - easy to do - or for a small charge we will drill the holes for you based on your specifications.
The "BKT" is designed to mount from one (1) to three (3) large VHF/UHF -or- small HF antennas without any additional support.
The "BKT" can be used to mount one (1) larger HF antenna (such as High Sierra, Tarheel, etc. screwdriver or Hi Q 5/160 motorized antenna) with our optional UHAM-150 universal mount and one of our new "BKT" hardware kits. Our UHAM-150 mount has a second point of attachment to securely hold the larger antenna, and is adjustable vertically and horizontally for almost"ANY BRAND" of screwdriver or motorized HF antenna. This mount bolts to either the drivers or passenger end of the BKT, into the thick mounting plate that bolts to the Honda Ridgeline tie-down clip - the UHAM-150 simply bolts into one of the existing holes in the BKT. You can custom install your "other brand" mount if appropriately bolted to either end of the "BKT". For more information please click > UHAM-150 . Caution if you use more than one radio with multiple antennas: As with any mobile installation, if you have more than one radio in your vehicle you need to take into consideration the spacing of the antennas so that when transmitting from one radio and antenna you do not damage the receiver in the other radio connected to another nearby antenna. You want to have the antennas connected to two or more radios as far apart as reasonable to avoid overloading and possibly damaging the receiver when transmitting from the other radio. This is NOT a problem if you have one radio connected to multiple antennas. In this case you also need to consider combiners/band pass filters to appropriately connect the antennas to the appropriate antenna jacks on the radio. Such devices are readily available from ham radio stores.
The "BKT" includes the following:

51 inch (1.3 meters) aluminum channel, 3/16" wall thickness, 4 in. wide, 1-5/8 in. tall.

Heavy-duty aluminum adapter plates that bolt with 1/2 inch stainless steel hardware to the Honda factory tie-down clips.

Heavy-duty aluminum spacer to put the "BKT" well above the Honda bed cover and allows easy access to the cover clips.

Two stainless steel bolts for grounding to your vehicle - we pay attention to the details for a high-performance steup.

All the hardware (all stainless steel) needed to bolt the BKT to our Ridgeline.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO is drill the holes for your antenna(s), in the 4 inch wide x 1/4 inch thick panel. This is easy to do, or for a small charge we will gladly drill the holes for you.

Available in bare aluminum or any of our five (5) standard powder coated paint colors (click > Powder Coat Paint Colors). . If powder coated, the aluminum adapter is powder coated the same color (the aluminum spacer is bare aluminum only as it is not visible).

The photo below shows what you get for ALL VERSIONS - only difference is whether you order bare aluminum or powder coated version. For powder coated orders, the "aluminum adapter" is powder coated the SAME color as the main part of the bracket.
