Parts_Coil-01: HF Shunt Coil |
This is the same load inductor coil and clip that is used in our SHUNT-100. The coil is #14 tin plated solid copper and comes with a silver-plated coil clip with tightening screw. For those who don't need the weather-proof features of the SHUNT-100.

Parts_HD Solder Lugs: Various Sizes
 
These are HEAVY-DUTY solder screw lugs for 1/4, 3/8 or 1/2 inch bolts. These are heavier than what you buy at a typical automotive or hardware store. They come in two sets of sizes and all fit #16-12 gauge wire:

1/4 & 3/8 inch (five of each): standard size for most 3/8x24 stud HF antennas including many of the screwdriver/motorized antennas

1/2 inch (five): size that can be used with the Hi Q Antennas "ruggedized" models with the 1/2x20 base bolt.

Parts_Insul-01: Antenna Insulation Kit

This is the same antenna insulation kit that comes with our UHAM mounts .
This consists of EDPM rubber, 3/16" thick x 2" wide x 18" long, with five (5) tie strips for attaching the insulation to your antenna, mast, or whatever. The rubber is water proof and UV(sunlight) resistant. It is very flexible, easy to cut with scissors and works well to insulate your antenna from the V-clamp on the UHAM mounts. We have tested this at 100 watts on HF frequencies while "hosing water on the rubber", with excellent results. The tie strips are black, UV resistant and 14" long. We chose this material over Delrin, which is best for RF, as EDPM provides more "grip" between the antenna and V-clamps, and provides some cushioning for your antenna against the V-clamps. It also allows for use with various sizes of antennas.
Our customers have used this with OTHER BRAND mounts to provide a better insulation of their antenna at the upper mounting point, compared to what the other brands provide. It has been tested on a Tarheel mount at 500+ watts: click > TEST RESULTS .

Antenna Bolt: 3/8x24, 2.0 inches Long

You get one (1) 18-8 stainless steel, 3/8x24, 2 inch long, hex bolt. This is the "standard" size used for the bottom of High Sierra, High Q Antennas (standard but not ruggedized models), Tarheel and other makes of HF screwdriver and motorized antennas.
This bolt is the size used, for example, with Hi Q Antennas "standard" models when used with our various UHAM and BKT heavy-duty mounts that are 3/4 inches thick. The bolts that Hi Q provides with their antennas are shorter, which fit 1/2 inch thick mounts.
If you order this with with one of our mounts, we will not charge you shipping, but please CONTACT US in advance so we can provide you with a discount price.
