Antenna Mounting Bases & Brackets

• AMB-Gnd-1: Ground counterpoise "ring" for up to four (4) 3/8x24 stud whip antennas that can be used as a ground counterpoise for HF bands through 6m. Bolts to our AMB L-brackets, CLAMP & BKT products, and can be mounted on your own mount with the provided 3/8x24 bolt.

• AMB-Gnd-2: Three sets of hardware to mount up to three (3) 3/8x24 stud whip antennas as a ground counterpoise. Includes hex head bolts and couplers for screwing in your whip antennas. Mounts to our CLAMP200 mounted vertically on a ladder, or any panel up to 1/4 inch thick.

• AMB-Gnd-8: Ground counterpoise "ring" for up to eight (8) 3/8x24 stud whip antennas that can be used as a ground counterpoise for HF bands through 6m. SAME AS OUR "AMB-Gnd-1" except fits up to eight stud whip antennas.

Second Antenna Arm 

This option allows you to use a second small mobile antenna with a primary antenna mounted on some of our CLAMP and AMB series "L" brackets. It simply bolts to the 1/4 inch bolt on our products and can be used by itself for your custom installation. For details, click > AMB 2nd Antenna Arm .

• AMB-Arm2:   2nd antenna mounting extension arm with NMO and groundplane radials for installing a VHF/UHF antenna (135-512 MHz) in conjunction with one of our antenna mounts, including: CLAMP150, AMB series "L" brackets, CLAMP200 mounted vertically with one of our AMB series "L" brackets or a CLAMP200 mounted horizontally.

Antenna Mount Adapters

We offer two adapters for mounting our CLAMP200, UHAM150 and BKT products to vertical or horizontal surfaces. These are very heavy duty brackets, and can be also used for your custom antenna installation. For details, click > AMB Mounting Adapters .

• AMB-HMA-1: Heavy duty "horizontal" adapter to use with a CLAMP200 that is mounted horizontally to a railing or other "open" structure. This simply bolts to the CLAMP200 with provided hardware, for installing our AMB series "L" brackets or a UHAM200 mount. It will also fit an AMB-Gnd-1 / AMB-Gnd-8 counterpoise ring. All of our products simply bolt on with provided stainless steel hardware. The "HMA-1" consists of a heavy duty "L" bracket predrilled to fit our mounts and options.

• AMB-VMA-4: Heavy duty "vertical" adaptor to use with our UHAM150, BKT-Sksp-1, and BKT-Flat-4 heavy duty mounts. The "VMA-4" can be ordered with four sets of stainless steel mounting bolts or stainless steel U-bolts with hardware. The bolts are used to bolt this to a vertical flat surface. The U-bolts are used for mounting to a pipe up to 2" in diameter. The "VMA-4" consists of two "L" brackets that bolt to one of our mounts listed above, and can be used with essentially any horizontal mount. It comes predrilled to fit our mounts and options.

Antenna Extensions

We offer an antenna extension in one, two and custom lengths, to raise the motorized antenna coil above your vehicle roof line.

• AMB-AntExtend-2.5: Solid aluminum antenna extension for Hi Q Antennas "ruggedized" 5 and 6 series antennas to make the mast below the coil longer. The Hi Q antennas come with a mast that is approximately 2 feet long below the loading coil. If mounted on a bumper or trailer hitch this may place the loading coil below your vehicle roof line. The "AntExtend" allows you to raise the antenna 1, 2 or a custom length and place the antenna coil higher. It will fit any antenna with a bottom diameter of 2.5 inches and 1/2x20 mounting hardware.
